Setting your availability

Configure your working hours and days off.

Your availability determines when clients can book you:

Regular hours — Go to Dashboard → Availability. Set your start and end time for each day of the week. Days with no hours set are treated as days off.

Multiple blocks per day — You can add more than one time block per day (e.g., 9 AM–12 PM and 2 PM–6 PM) to account for lunch breaks or split shifts. Click "Add hours" on any day to add a second block.

Time-off exceptions — Need to block a specific date or date range? Click "Add Time Off" in the top right: - Set a start and end date - Add an optional reason (e.g., "Vacation") - No bookings can be made during that period

Per-staff availability (Business plan) — Business plan owners and managers can set individual availability for each staff member. Go to Dashboard → Availability and use the staff selector tabs at the top to switch between "Business-wide" and individual team members.

How slots work — BookBetter generates 15-minute-interval time slots based on your hours and the selected service duration. A 30-minute service starting at 2:00 PM blocks 2:00–2:30. Buffer time (if set on the service) blocks additional time after without showing it to clients.
