Sending payment requests to clients

Charge clients after the appointment with a custom amount.

You can send a payment request to any client directly from your dashboard — useful for tattoo artists, custom work, or any service where the final price is determined after the appointment.

How to send a payment request: 1. Go to Dashboard → Appointments 2. Switch to List view and find the appointment 3. Click the appointment to expand it (or open it from calendar view) 4. You'll see a "Send Payment Request" button if the booking is unpaid or has an outstanding deposit balance 5. Click it — a modal opens with the amount prefilled from the service price 6. Edit the amount to whatever the final price is 7. Click Send Request

The client receives an email with a secure Stripe checkout link. They can pay by card and optionally add a tip.

For deposit bookings — if the client paid a deposit at booking, the prefilled amount is automatically the remaining balance (full price minus deposit). You can still edit it.

After sending: - You get a payment link you can also copy or share via text/WhatsApp - The client's booking is marked "paid" once they complete checkout - The payment goes directly to your connected Stripe account

Custom pricing — for custom tattoos or quote-based work, set your service price to a rough estimate, then send the exact final amount later with a payment request.
